Are you one of those people who find it hard to be themselves in a house where they are the only ones who care about animals, the environment and the world in general?
Well most people know what lead to this unconsciousness and denial in some people or the belief systems that no longer serve the collective consciousness but we are not going to talk about the issues here. We are going to focus on the solution.
So without farther to do, here's how to deal with it.
Keep being you and find ways to inspire others without being pushy.
When you know your values and the way to align your values with your goals then it's easier for you to stand your ground and show they way. When you know who you are and what you love doing you can then root for others to find their own excitement and love within that leads to better lifestyle choices and collective changes for the better.
Eventually they will start respecting your individuality and even start adopting a healthier lifestyle without them even noticing that they are doing it. Some sustainable technology tools and trends are just starting to become more and more available or mainstream so be patient, it usually takes a few months before people learn about it. Hold space for them and start feeling comfortable for being uncomfortable (being the black sheep) and keep spreading your light and knowledge in a way that feels good to you. This can be done either online or in a small group or community or even at your workplace.
Be open and if people are judgmental or mean at first, don't take it personally. It;s ok for them to be like this because the never learned better. Don't judge them and if they are curious or open about learning something knew offer your perspective about it. Change needs time, education and repetition. This is exactly how new habits are formed. Start with yourself first and be the example for change. Be humble and loving to everybody.
